Refund & Cancellation Policy

This page consolidates everything you need to know about cancelling, refunds, and disputes. It summarizes binding terms from our Terms of Service — in the event of conflict, Terms §4 and §5 govern.

1. Monthly subscriptions

All NagareOps subscription products (ShiftBrief, ShiftLog, StaffPulse, ShiftFill, Communication Pack, Daily Ops Core, Compliance Add-On, Event Pack, Full Operator Suite) are billed monthly and auto-renew through Square until you cancel.

How to cancel: Sign in at /account and click Cancel next to the subscription. Cancellation is immediate and takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access to the tools until that date.

No prorated refunds. We do not issue prorated refunds for unused days in a partial billing period. Your continued access through the end of the paid period is your sole remedy upon cancellation.

2. One-time purchases

These are sold as single-use credits, not subscriptions:

  • IncidentReport — $30
  • IncidentReport Re-pull Credit — $10
  • InspectionPrep — $50
  • OnboardKit — $30/hire
  • RunOfShow — $50/event
  • EventDebrief — $30/event
  • BEO Builder — $70/event
  • VendorBrief — $30/event
  • Event Pack (per-event bundle) — $100/event

Non-refundable once generated. Once you submit a product form and our AI generates a draft, the purchase cannot be refunded. The draft is yours to keep and use regardless of whether you choose to act on it.

Never generated = full refund. If you purchased a one-time credit but never submitted a form (no draft was ever generated), email support@jkcreative.store within 30 days of purchase and we will refund in full via Square.

3. IncidentReport re-pull grace

When you purchase IncidentReport ($30), you automatically receive a 48-hour re-pull grace window. Within 48 hours of your first generation, you may regenerate the draft one additional time at no charge — useful if you spot a factual error, missed detail, or want to adjust tone.

After 48 hours, or for additional pulls beyond one, a $10 Re-pull Credit purchase is required.

4. Discretionary refunds

Beyond the refund rules above, we handle all refund requests case-by-case. Circumstances where we generally approve discretionary refunds:

  • Duplicate charge (Square processing error)
  • Service outage that prevented your use of a purchased credit
  • Fraudulent charge on a stolen card (report immediately; we cooperate with your card issuer)
  • Significant product defect (AI output completely unusable, wrong product delivered)

Circumstances where we generally deny discretionary refunds:

  • You changed your mind after generating a draft
  • The AI draft required editing before use (all drafts are starting points — see Disclaimer)
  • You forgot to cancel before auto-renewal (cancel any time at /account to prevent future charges)
  • You subscribed, used the tools for a month, then decided it wasn't for you

To request a discretionary refund, use the support contact form with subject "Refund request" and include your purchase reference (shown on your receipt email).

5. Cancellation confirmation

When you cancel a subscription from /account:

  1. Your cancellation is scheduled with Square immediately.
  2. You receive a confirmation email with the effective cancellation date.
  3. Your access to all products included in that subscription remains active until that date.
  4. On the effective date, Square notifies us, we mark entitlements as revoked, and your sign-in continues to work (so you can review drafts you generated, which we retain for up to 30 days per our data retention policy).
  5. No further charges occur.

6. Chargebacks & disputes

Before filing a chargeback with your card issuer, please contact us first at support@jkcreative.store. We respond to all billing inquiries within 1 business day and approve legitimate refunds promptly — the contact form is the fastest route to a resolution.

If a chargeback is filed, we cooperate fully with Square and your card issuer. We reserve the right to contest disputes that fall outside the refund rules above by providing transaction logs, generated draft timestamps, and signed webhook receipts as evidence. Fraudulent chargebacks (disputing a legitimate, completed purchase) may result in account termination and recovery of processing fees under our Terms of Service §10.
